OTC Link: sell a token for QUAI

OTC Link at hartiibiome.com/otc lets you offer "X tokens for Y QUAI" and share the link. The buyer fills it in a single transaction. You deposit nothing: your tokens stay in your wallet until someone fills the offer.

Use small trades first, and only fill offers from people you trust; Hartii does not vet makers or tokens.

What you'll need

  • A Pelagus or Blip wallet on Quai Mainnet (chain 9).
  • Maker: the tokens you are offering, plus QUAI for gas (two transactions).
  • Taker: QUAI for the price, the service fee and gas.

Create an offer (maker)

  1. Open the page and press Connect wallet (the button then reads Connect Pelagus or Connect Blip, depending on your wallet).
  2. Go to the Trade tab, Create an offer.
  3. Under Token, press the HARTII chip or paste a standard token address, then press Load. The page shows the symbol, your balance and your allowance.
  4. Enter Tokens you offer (Max fills your whole balance) and QUAI you receive.
  5. Optional, under More options: Offer expires in (1, 3, 7, 14 or 30 days; 7 is suggested, 30 is the maximum) and Only this taker (leave blank to let anyone accept).
  6. Check the preview: it shows what you receive, what the taker pays, and the fee.
  7. Press 1 · Approve exact amount. This allows exactly your offer amount and moves no tokens. Confirm in your wallet.
  8. Press 2 · Create offer. Review the summary, then Confirm & open wallet. This also moves no tokens.
  9. A share window opens with a link, a QR code and Copy link. Send it to your buyer. The link includes the token symbol and amounts so chat apps show a preview like "Buy 1,000,000 $HARTII for 50 QUAI · Hartii OTC Link"; the buyer's page still reads the real offer from the chain.

If your price is far from other offers on the board for the same token, a warning under the preview asks you to check for a typo. It never blocks you, and it is not a market price. The review dialog shows the exact UTC expiry.

Fill an offer (taker)

  1. Open the link, or pick an offer on the Market tab's Offer board.
  2. Review the amounts, the service fee and the status. If you are not connected, press Connect wallet to accept. Offers marked stale / unfillable can't be filled right now. Cancelled, filled and expired offers say so and hide Accept; use Make your own offer instead.
  3. Press Accept & swap, review, press Confirm & open wallet, and sign once. You receive the tokens and the maker receives their QUAI in the same transaction.
  4. A receipt card shows what you received and paid, with the transaction link and Copy receipt. If it says reverted, nothing moved (gas may still be charged); if it says pending, don't send again.

If the link text (for example the amount in a chat preview) doesn't match the offer on the page, a warning says so. Trust the numbers on the page.

Cancel an offer

Open the My activity tab, find the offer under My offers, and press Cancel (or open your offer and press Cancel this offer). Offers I filled on the same tab lists swaps you completed recently. Cancelling moves no tokens and charges no service fee. You can cancel any time before it is filled or expires.

Fees and limits

  • Service fee: 0.5% of the QUAI amount, paid on top by the taker and only on a successful fill. The maker always gets the full price they asked for.
  • Minimum offer: 1 QUAI on the QUAI side of the offer (the page's own check is the final word).
  • Maximum expiry: 30 days.
  • Each offer is filled in full or not at all. Approve, create, fill and cancel are separate transactions, each with network gas.
  • Offers are public on-chain even if you only share the link privately.

Common mistakes

  • Qi address. Qi-ledger addresses can't be used: "Qi-ledger addresses cannot be used here. Use a Cyprus-1 Quai-ledger address (it starts with 0x00)."
  • Wrong network. The page wants chain 9: "Wallet is not on Quai Mainnet, chain 9."
  • Not enough QUAI. "Not enough QUAI for the amount plus the network fee (gas)." Add QUAI and try again.
  • Wallet already has a transaction waiting. Let it finish, then retry.
  • Offer went stale. If the maker's balance or allowance changed, the offer shows as stale. Ask for a fresh offer.
  • Unsupported tokens. Taxed, rebasing or non-standard tokens fail.
  • Wallet changed during signing. If you switch account or network while a transaction is open, the page says "check your wallet before sending again" and keeps the receipt. Check your wallet first.
  • "This link cannot be opened". The offer id is invalid, for another chain or version, doesn't exist, or the link was mangled. Ask the sender for a fresh link.
  • Pending or unclear. Don't resend. Look up your transaction on Quaiscan. An unresolved send blocks new ones; the My activity tab has a box to paste the transaction hash from your wallet and Check matching receipt.
